Sean Stewart - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Sean Stewart began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor David Ruiz in 2004 and has been studying the Art with dedication ever since. Winning 1st place gold at a number of tournaments in Colorado (including multiple Fight To Win and RMBJJF gi and no-gi tournaments), not only has Sean learned to perform the techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu against live, uncooperative, fully resisting opponents, but he has been taught specifically how to teach the Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Professor Ruiz, just as Professor Ruiz was specifically taught to teach the Art by Rorion, Royce, and Helio Gracie.
Prior to beginning the study of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sean earned an International Karate Organization certified Black Belt in Enshin Karate in 2000 and a WTF/USTA certified Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1993.
Sean is a graduate of Princeton University (Class of 1993) and the University of Chicago Law School (Class of 1997).
