Josh Goldberger won a dominant unanimous decision at the Fight To Win “Superheroes” event held in Denver, Colorado, on May 19, 2012. As “Thor,” Josh took his opponent, “Colossus” Michael Mathews, to the mat repeatedly with excellent wrestling and dominated position with excellent jiu jitsu. Thorberger nearly finished his opponent with an arm bar in the first and narrowly missed finishing a triangle choke in the second. The third ended with Thorberger working a rear naked choke against the very tough “Colossus” Mathews. After three hard fought five minute rounds, Thorberger was declared the victor by unanimous decision of the judges. Excellent work Josh! Way to go CBJJ!
